Starting off on the Wrong Foot

This past April, the College of the Holy Cross fired their head Men's Basketball coach Sean Kearney after only one season, and replaced him with current coach Milan Brown. Brown had conducted individual practices and workouts with each of his new players, getting to spend a lot of one-on-one time with them all, and getting to know them. On September 9th Coach Brown tweeted "Happy Birthday to Dee Brown who turned 19 today." Brown was intending to say happy birthday to Crudaders' guard Dee Goens, but mixed and matched between Dee and Holy Cross shooting guard Devin Brown. I looked at this and said you have got to be kidding me Milan! The guy has had the job for 6 months already and he doen't know his players name! To top it off he comes in in June and renames the traditional "Holy Cross Basketball Camp" to "Milan Brown Basketball Camp at Holy Cross" or something along those lines. ANYWHO, Brown did not stay at the camp! He went to the opening ceremony, gave a speach, then flew out off to recruit somewhere, nowhere to be seen for the rest of the week! He left his head assistant incharge of "his" camp. Might as well be called Dan Engelstad Camp....We'll See. Go Saders.
